Blurb:

Maeve Callaghan has spent years searching for a place to belong. So when she stumbles across an ad for a ranch immersion scheme during a late-night doomscroll, she takes it as a sign.

At Meadow Bell Ranch, everything feels right. The quiet mornings spent with a book. The satisfaction of a hard day's work. The endless stretch of open country. Unfortunately, so does the brooding cowboy who happens to be her boss.

The more time Maeve spends with Wade, the more convinced she becomes that there's more to him than he lets anyone see. It's none of her business. Unfortunately, that has never stopped her before.

Then there's his son—Colt. He is everything his father isn't: open-hearted and sensitive. As he battles struggles of his own, he and Maeve form an unexpected bond built on trust and understanding.

As the bonds between them deepen, Maeve finds herself caring for both men in ways she never anticipated, so when secrets are revealed, Maeve finds herself tangled in a situation far more complicated than she ever imagined. And when the truth finally comes to light, she may have to choose between the people she's come to care about and the only place that has ever truly felt like she belonged.
